How to choose
Buy for your specific bike, not for the longest compatibility list. A scanner that fully supports your marque, including live data and service resets, is far more useful than a universal tool that only reads generic codes on it.
If you own several bikes from different manufacturers, expect to need either a higher-tier tool or more than one adapter. The universal claims at the cheap end of this market rarely survive contact with a real fault.
